Kitchen
Responsibilities:
- Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Prepares all hot and cold foods according to the restaurant recipes and portions.
- Ensures all prepared food items are labeled and initialized.
- Ensures all items are organized properly: stored on shelving and coolers in designated areas according to Chicka Loca FIFO method.
- Ensures all work areas are clean, organized, and free of cross contamination, according to food and health standards.
- Follows safe knife handling procedures.
- Assists in preparation of catering orders.
- Assists in cleaning tasks.
- Assists in lobby maintenance during peak hours.
- Operates kitchen equipment and machinery.
- Sets up and breaks down work areas.
- Takes out the trash.
- Refills kitchen chemicals as needed.
- Puts orders away.
- Maintains an awareness of all existing menu items, advertisements and promotions.

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts
- Ability to lift objects up to 45lbs
- Flexible work schedule
- Willing to help wherever needed
