Cashier

Responsibilities:

  • Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  • Ensures that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous answers.
  • Maintains knowledge of all menu items and pricing.
  • Maintains knowledge of the POS system and functionality.
  • Maintains an awareness of all existing advertisements and promotions.
  • Maintains knowledge of allergen and dietary information. 
  • Communicates customer requests, comments and complaints to management.
  • Communicates effectively between front of house and back of house stations. 
  • Maintains a clean and orderly register and surrounding area.
  • Maintains dessert & beverage areas and lobby areas (cleans tables, takes out trash, and cleans bathrooms.)
  • Answers the telephone and takes orders as needed.
  • Remain attentive to customers throughout their entire dining experience: (greet, offer help, check-in, and say goodbye).
  • Monitors and processes online/phone orders, as well as delivering online/phone orders to customers upon arrival.
  • Performs daily side work as assigned by the Manager in charge.
