Food Service

Responsibilties:
 

  • Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  • Ensures that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous answers.
  • Maintains knowledge of all menu items and pricing.
  • Maintains an awareness of all existing advertisements and promotions.
  • Maintains knowledge of allergen and dietary information. 
  • Communicates customer requests, comments and complaints to management.
  • Communicates effectively between front of house and back of house stations. 
  • Ensures all prepared food items are labeled and initialized.
  • Ensures all items are organized properly: stored on shelving and coolers in designated areas according to Chicka Loca FIFO method.
  • Ensures all work areas are clean, organized, and free of cross contamination, according to food and health standards.
  • Follows safe knife handling procedures.
  • Takes out the trash.
  • Prepare dine-in/to-go/pick-up orders according to the Chicka Loca food presentation standards.
  • Monitors and records hot and cold food temperatures on the food line.
  • Assists in food preparation of hot and cold foods.
  • Displays strong knowledge of Chicka Loca portions.
  • Prepares and delivers pre-paid online orders to customers upon arrival
