Kitchen

Responsibilities:
 

  • Understands all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  • Prepares all hot and cold foods according to the restaurant recipes and portions. 
  • Ensures all prepared food items are labeled and initialized.
  • Ensures all items are organized properly: stored on shelving and coolers in designated areas according to Chicka Loca FIFO method.
  • Ensures all work areas are clean, organized, and free of cross contamination, according to food and health standards.
  • Follows safe knife handling procedures.
  • Assists in preparation of catering orders.
  • Assists in cleaning tasks.
  • Assists in lobby maintenance during peak hours.
  • Operates kitchen equipment and machinery.
  • Sets up and breaks down work areas. 
  • Takes out the trash.
  • Refills kitchen chemicals as needed.
  • Puts orders away.
  • Maintains an awareness of all existing menu items, advertisements and promotions.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts 
  • Ability to lift objects up to 45lbs
